In this interactive session, students will work through a team decision-making exercise. We will then debrief the exercise in light of the cutting edge science and best practices for leading inclusive teams. We will explore the value of diversity in teams, the need to create equitable and inclusive participation in team meetings, how to facilitate effective team task-debates to leverage team diversity, and how to manage team influence dynamics to make data-driven, anti-bias high-quality team decisions.
This workshop is designed for master’s students, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows. For faculty and staff, please contact email@example.com to see if we can accommodate your attendance.
