CoE Graduate Students are invited to attend the Professional Communication Etiquette Workshop. This ~1.5-hour workshop will give you some strategies and techniques for producing polite and effective communications with potential employers. We will look at some aspects of email and snail-mail etiquette, some essentials for cover letters, some things to know about body language in interviews, some conventional linguistic signals that you'll see and use in job-seeker/interviewer interactions, and a few miscellaneous tips for making a good impression. Come ready to practice, and bring your questions!
